Tongue Twister is brought to you by leading Sydney Co Producers, Renee Schembri,
Shona McTavish, Philippa Playford and Margot Natoli, known as 'TEAM TWISTED'.

Tongue Twister, now in its 4th successful year, is an annual club event designed for all lesbians,
of all ages and genres, as a one off during the Mardi Gras Festival season.

Margot Natoli is well known for producing many lesbian club nights over the past 20 years,
including 'Sister Friction', 'ECO bar', 'BUMPHER Bar' and 'Girl Friday'. Margot has also Co-Produced
SUMMER GAY DAY, the first outdoor Gay & Lesbian Music Festival in 2007 & 2008, at Kippax Lake,
Moore Park to celebrate the launch of summer.

Renee Schembri is a well known identity in the gay community and currently producers the very
popular lesbian club event on Oxford Street, 'Bitch' at Art Factory (Voted Best Girls Night Nationally
@ Lotl awards, and now entering its 5th year). Along with Revolution, Bada Bing, Summer-Salt.
Bitch has travelled nationally and also overseas producing events throughout the UK including the "Official
Soho Pride recovery", Vanilla @ Manchester and hosting Bitch parties in 6 major cities over the past
few years. She has produced other major music projects, including 'Get Together 07' featuring Sneaky
Sound System & 'SweatFest in 2005' at Wharf 3 with leading international artists, and girls nights
'Bite @ Dendy' + the icebox.

Philippa Playford is a visual artist and prop maker that has extensive experience with designing
and producing major community events in Sydney over the past 22 years. She has designed and
created scenic elements for the Gay and Lesbian community - Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras
Parties 1991 to 1994, PRIDE NYE party 1993 to 1997, Floats for Mardi Gras Parade 1992 to 2006,
Mardi Gras float entries for the City of Sydney 2005 to 2009. Pip was the Co Producer of the 2005-06
parties, 'Ruby Reds Reunion', 'Lickalotapus' and 'Disco Dolly'. Recently she has produced scenic
elements for City of Sydney 09 Christmas and NYE party and events.

Shona McTavish was on the Pride Board of Directors 1998 - 1999, and whilst on the board she was on
the 1999 Pride NYE party committee. Shona has assisted in the production of various key lesbian club
events, including 'Sister Friction', 'Eco Bar', 'Girl Friday' and 'Fat Sals'.
